At Challenge Dyslexia, we provide full diagnostic dyslexia assessments which provide a clear and detailed picture of an individual’s learning profile, identifying both strengths and areas of difficulty.
Our assessments are carried out by a qualified dyslexia assessor and include:
- -:- Standardised diagnostic tests designed to highlight key areas of strength and weakness
- -:- A detailed cognitive and attainment profile of the individual
- -:- A comprehensive written report, recognised by schools, colleges, universities, and workplaces
- -:- Practical recommendations to guide next steps in education and everyday life
- -:- A feedback session to ensure the results are fully understood and questions can be answered
The aim of the assessment is not only to confirm whether dyslexia is present, but also to provide meaningful insights and strategies that make a real difference.
We can also provide specialist tuition to support ongoing learning needs.
At Challenge Dyslexia, we are committed to giving families clarity and confidence through reliable, professional assessment and support.
What to Expect
- -:- A full diagnostic assessment typically lasts around three hours.
- -:- It is designed to determine whether an individual has dyslexia. If other needs are suspected (such as ADHD, dyspraxia, or ASD), onward referral may be recommended.
- -:- Before the assessment, a recent eye test is required (within the last 12 months) and background information questionnaires must be completed and returned in advance.
- -:- Following the assessment, you will receive a detailed written report along with the opportunity to book a feedback session to go through the results.
